Sadhwi Ravichandran (she/her), is a Registered Midwife joining Mountain Midwifery Care after graduating from McMaster University in 2026.
Her path to midwifery was a little unconventional. Before becoming a midwife, she was a Materials Engineer. It was her own experiences with pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood that inspired her to pursue a career in midwifery and support families during this important time in their lives.
Sadhwi feels privileged to walk alongside clients through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. She strives to provide care that is compassionate, evidence-based, and centred on each family’s unique needs and goals. She finds the most rewarding parts of midwifery are building meaningful relationships with clients and helping them feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their journey.
Sadhwi speaks English and Tamil. Outside of midwifery, she enjoys reading, exploring the city with her family, and spending time with her two daughters—often snuggled up together watching their favourite movies.
