Emily Worsley

Registered Midwife

Emily Worsley (she/her) has been a part of Mountain Midwifery Care since 2022. She holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Midwifery from McMaster University. Emily contributes to the Midwifery Quality of Care Committee at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, supporting ongoing improvements in client care and birth experiences.

Emily strives to create a safe, inclusive, and affirming space for every individual she supports, recognizing that each birth journey is deeply personal and deserves to be met with respect, empathy, and empowerment. Drawn to midwifery to be part of life’s most powerful and meaningful moments, she values trust, choice, and connection throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, ensuring her clients feel genuinely supported and heard.

Originally from a small town outside Kitchener-Waterloo, Emily now lives in Ancaster with the three great loves of her life: her husband and their two cherished (and very spoiled) cats.

When she’s not working with families, you’ll likely find her with her hands in clay creating pottery, painting her latest ceramic project, getting coffee at a cafe, deep into a board game night with loved ones, or showing you photos of her cats.
